Homecoming 2009 April 12, 2009 was Homecoming Day at the Central Academy Church of Christ. If you were present with us that day, we want to thank you for doing your part to make our special day truly special. We were honored to have you with us! Riley Nelson, former preacher of the congregation, taught Bible class and did the preaching for a gospel meeting that week. You may access the audio of those lessons here We were blessed to have 143 friends and family members in attendance for Sunday morning worship. Many stayed for lunch in the fellowship hall after morning worship. Some stayed after lunch for a period of gospel singing. The history of the congregation (written by B.H. Darby, former elder) was read at that time. Homecoming means enjoying the company of those who have been part of us in the past and family members we don't often get to see.
